    PRISMA stands for Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses. It is an evidence-based minimum set of items for reporting in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The aim of the PRISMA Statement is to help authors improve the reporting of systematic reviews and meta-analyses. We have focused on randomized trials, but PRISMA can also be used as a basis for reporting systematic reviews of other types of research, particularly evaluations of interventions. PRISMA may also be useful for critical appraisal of published systematic reviews, although it is not a quality assessment instrument to gauge the quality of a systematic review

    The Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE) Instrument evaluates the process of practice guideline development and the quality of reporting. The original AGREE Instrument has been updated and methodologically refined. The AGREE II is now the new international tool for the assessment of practice guidelines. The AGREE II is both valid and reliable and comprises 23 items organized into the original 6 quality domains

  • Beoordeling Acceptatie Levensverzekeringen (NL)
    Beoordeling Acceptatie Levensverzekeringen is een beoordelingsinstrument voor medische acceptatie op basis van 12 kwaliteitscriteria verdeeld over 5 domeinen, aangevuld met een tweedelige algemene beoordeling. BAL is bedoeld om beleidsverantwoordelijke medisch adviseurs te ondersteunen bij het realiseren van het gewenste kwaliteitsniveau van hun medische dienst. BAL is alleen beschikbaar in een eerste vrijblijvende aanzet (huidige versie 0.3) en zal eerst verder worden ontwikkeld, alvorens ter bespreking te worden voorgelegd aan mogelijke gebruikers.   • Government Actuary's Deptartment (UK)
    The Government Actuary's Department was formerly responsible for producing national life tables, which give statistics on expectation of life. Every ten years the department prepared a set of graduated (smoothed) life tables for England & Wales (known as the English Life Tables) and for Scotland, using data for years around a census. Each year ungraduated interim life tables were produced for the United Kingdom and each of its constituent countries, using data for a period of three consecutive years
  • Life office mortality investigation
    The CMI (Continuous Mortality Investigation) of The Actuarial Profession (UK) investigates the mortality experience of policyholders with assurances and annuitants of life offices.
